As we have mentioned before the Institute is undergoing some overdue and much needed remodeling. We are near completion with these changes and are looking forward to having an open house upon completion.

While we receive many visitors during the Houston tourist season, we are aware that most people will never be able to take a tour of the Institute. We have numerous works of art in our visitors center, and during our upcoming open house we will be unveiling a new work that the Institute commissioned by our very own resident of the John Locke chair.

This work is intended to represent the independent and free spirit of the American people. The artist calls this work, "Horses racing to be in a painting posted on a blog site".
